A cog railway connects Capolago, on the shores of the lake to the panoramic peak. Two mountainside cable car routes climb the emblematic mountains of Lugano: Monte San Salvatore – from there, a high-altitude path leads you to the village of Carona and up to Morcote and Monte Brè.
In addition, the cable car takes you to the sunny town of Serpiano, from which you can easily access the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Monte San Giorgio.
